Overview

The Capitaine Chevalier is the leader of the Chevaliers taking residence in the Temple of Valstar. It is a tall, golden Chevalier, towering over Zedekiah at nearly twice his height. Being the commander of its army, the Capitaine Chevalier is intelligent, quick-witted, and incredibly strong, but is also incredibly boastful, constantly flaunting its golden, polished armor. As it turns out, the Capitaine Chevalier is a very poor leader, being incredibly self-centered and prideful, and is disliked by the majority of the Bataillon de Chevaliers. Defeating him causes the clan to respect the protagonists, and no longer treat them with hostility.

Fight Overview

The Capitaine Chevailer is mostly a skill check for the player, ensuring they have properly learned how to fight and play the game. Being a Superheavy enemy, he also teaches the player about them. He does not present a difficult challenge, instead testing the player on all they've learned. His slow movement and common boasting leaves him vulnerable to Heavy combos, while the Chevaliers he summons incentivize Light combos.

During his 2nd phase at half health, he simply intensifies the fight, raising the difficulty and making it a true test of skill.

Phase 1

Mega Claw

C. Chevalier will slash his claws twice towards the player, dealing heavy damage but only hitting shortly in front of him.

Enorme Coup D'aiguille

C. Chevalier winds back, then charges towards the player performing a Coup D'aiguille similar to other Chevaliers, but it doesn't do quite as much damage. In return it is much more difficult to dodge.

Needle Dart

C. Chevalier draws his hand back before sending a fan of needle darts at the player.

Renforts

C. Chevalier blows a horn and summons two Chevaliers.

Phase 2

Violent Mega Claw

C. Chevalier slashes his claws twice as before, but then slams down onto the ground, creating a shockwave.

Kingslayer

C. Chevalier winds back even further before becoming a spinning drill headed straight for the player. He slightly homes on the player, dealing heavy damage and always knocking the player down if he hits.

Needle Storm

C. Chevalier rapidly throws several fans of needle darts at the player.

Renforts II

C. Chevalier summons two Chevaliers as before, but also creates a barrier around himself until they are defeated.
