Princess Alina Venatores is the ruler of Elutheria and a powerful conjurer. She is, at heart, a pure and kind soul, but possesses a snarky, stubborn attitude only sweetened by her charming charisma she uses to her advantage.

Overview

Alina is the next-in-line princess of Elutheria and a powerful Conjurer. She may look cute and innocent, but Alina is actually incredibly intelligent and quick-witted, able to keep a level head in any scenario. She is a dependable, charismatic leader-- fitting for a princess-- and possesses a completely pure soul at heart. However, she tends to use her charisma in a more manipulative way, often bending people around her to her stubborn, headstrong will.

In-game, Alina may lack Zedekiah's raw damage, but her excellent crowd-control lends well to her long-range capabilities. Her dependable Ethereal Bow ability is excellent at taking down enemies from afar. All of her abilities are fairly powerful and are relatively inexpensive. However, her attacks lack knockback, so she can be easy to overwhelm by powerful opponents.

Backstory

Alina was born into the loving arms of her father, Balthasar Venatores, and her mother, Galidas Olegarch. Although she was born into nobility, Alina was never spoiled; her parents made a point to raise her like any other young girl, even down to dressing her in commoner clothes. Each of her parents taught her important life skills as a princess; Balthasar taught her how to be a strong, dependable leader and charm those around her. Galidas taught her how to fight and instructed her in the arcane.

In her free time, Alina loved to read. In particular, she'd always ask her parents for any books about conjuration magic, as she loved how unique it was among the arcane, being focused on constructing and creating energy rather than destroying and expending it. Practicing her skills daily, she quickly grew to be an impressive little mage.

One fateful day, Alina and Galidas were out on one of their evening strolls in the countryside when a horde of Crucimolds attacked. Instinctively, both Alina and her mother drew their weapons and fought them off, but the strength and ferocity were proving too much for them. With no other choice, Galidas decided to use herself as a distraction for the Crucimolds and told Alina to run back to the castle. Alina did so, hoping that Galidas would return shortly after, but she was never seen again and presumed dead. Since then, Alina's behavior changed from cheery and generous to a much more reserved and snarky attitude.

Balthasar, grieving his wife and vowing to her that Alina would never be harmed, decided to finally bestow Alina her own personal Royal Guard.
