Chevalier

Chevaliers are humanoid monsters that wear shining steel armor gauntlets with sharp claws. They are trained as skilled soldiers from birth, and follow a central chain-of-command with the Capitaine Chevalier at the top. They are incessently tidy, and spend hours at a time polishing their armor until it adamantly shines. Although not normally hostile to humans, Chevaliers are extremely protective of their turf, and will attack anything that intrudes on it. Forced into the Temple of Valstar by Dimas, they falsely believe the protagonists are her servants, and attack them without mercy.
Basic Chevaliers are strategic fighters; they will either attempt to do a 3-hit slash combo, or a powerful jab. They can guard to reduce incoming damage by 60%, but will only do so if they are accompanied by an ally. Chevaliers are mainly found by themselves or sometimes with 1-2 allies.
Chevaliers are threatening, elite foes, and have high HP, damage, and defense. Their weakness is only how few of them there are at a time, and that they attack slow.

The Chevalier will perform a 3-hit slash combo that knocks the player into the next hit if they don't escape each hit well enough.

Chevaliers are aggressively territorial, elite armored foes. What they lack in numbers they make up for in strength. Their gauntlets form into sharp claws that they use to attack their foes. Beware their Coup D'aiguille-- a lethal needle jab.
