Swindly (Manipulation)

Swindlies are older, foxier looking versions of Sueddies with a more witch-like appearance. They drop the differing effects between characters and instead use psionic magic to inflict the player with debilitiating status effects. They still cannot directly attack the player, however.

Swindlies show up near the late-game and almost entirely replace Sueddies.

Psychospin

The Swindly attacks the player's mind, afflicting them with Bewildered. This inverts their horizontal control, swaps their light and heavy attacks, and halves their damage dealt. This effect lasts longer in Hero Mode.

Blindeye

The Swindly will launch a slow-moving jet-black projectile. If it hits the player, they will be afflicted with Blinded. This creates a heavy vignette effect around the player, and doubles damage taken. This effect lasts longer in Hero Mode.

Evil Laughter

The Swindly will snigger at the player while they are afflicted with one of their status effects. They become completely vulnerable while doing so and will keep doing so until attacked or the status effect wears off.

Codex Page

No Crucimold is as potentially dangerous as the Swindly. As Sueddies that lived long enough to gather even more Crucimen, they possess a very rare talent; Psionic magic. They can debilitate the minds of their prey, leaving them for the other Crucimolds to hunt down while weakened.
