The Storm of Souls

The forces of evil grow stronger...

After the protagonists free Galidas from Dimas's control in Ariagale Sanctuary, Dimas becomes enraged at her armies' lack of progress stopping the duo. She begins to perform a ritual that unleashes a Storm of Souls, an unholy phenomenon that releases evil souls cast into Hell back to the overworld, strengthening all Crucimolds and creating new threats. During this event, lasting while the player backtracks through Ariagale Sanctuary, the sky glows a ghastly red.
