In Elutheria, the dead are granted no respite. When a corpse is not properly buried, or an arcane ritual goes horrifically wrong, it may create a Husk; a vessel without a soul. It's unknown how this naturally takes place-- presumed to be related to the large concentration of magic crystals in the Great Elutherian Mine radiating magical energies into the kingdom-- but it can be unnaturally caused by sorcerers seeking to practice highly illegal forms of magic.
