Calista is a travelling shopkeeper with outrageous prices and an equally fiery attitude. She's made a living off selling cheap wares, but is still unable to retire. It's a wonder she manages to sell much of anything, but you really can't beat her sales.

Overview

Calista is the travelling owner of a mobile shopping caravan. Although not evil or malicious, Calista is incredibly rude and snarky to even her most loyal customers, often snapping at them and keeping conversations strictly to business. As a matter of fact, Calista only manages to be financially successful due to her extremely low prices, offering common goods and equipment for dirt cheap prices. This slow financial build has prevented her from retiring-- giving her a snarky, bitter attitude-- but makes her travelling store a welcoming refreshment for Elutherian explorers.

Calista refuses to tell much about her personal life. She only states that she has a daughter and a husband over in Dalmara, and has not visited home for 4 months.

After beating the game and purchasing every piece of equipment from Calista, the player can choose to outright buy Calista her retirement. This costs 12,000 Elits-- the highest price in the game-- but awards an exclusive achievement and Trinket.

Calista looks at the protagonists with a heartfelt shock, before smiling and concealing a tear. She nods, and closes up shop. Calista and her shops will never appear in that save file again.

Calista appears in every region (barring Towns), first appearing in the Temple of Valstar. She sells all sorts of gear and consumables, which aren't as potent as town-bought ones but are far cheaper.
