Scorchstone

Scorchstones are sentient, vaguely humanoid rock monsters. Their core is highly valued as a crafting ingredient, but is the source of their immense strength. Because of their stone bodies, they are highly durable.

Pummel

The Scorchstone throws a haymaker at the player. It's a bit slow, but hits hard. It also hits any enemy that isn't part of the Scorchstone family.

Lava Beam

When the player is too far, Scorchstones will briefly open their chest and fire a beam of hot lava at the player. This deals a lot of damage, but if the Scorchstone is hit in the front during the wind-up, it will be instantly defeated.

Codex Entry

Out of the many mysteries of the Scorchfreeze Sierras, Scorchstones still puzzle biologists and geologists to this day. It is unknown whether they are considered living or not. All that is known for certain is that they are highly territorial and extremely durable.
