Hextic (Panic)

Although they're a bit small, Hextics are overwhelmingly fast. However, they have very poor ranged resistance. Hextics also only ever come as solo enemies in a pod.

Dash Slash

The Hextic will dash towards the player and slash at them. It deals low damage, but will stagger the player. The Hextic will also continue to run forward after they attack, turning around and often trying again. If this attack is parried, the Hextic will be immediately defeated.

Hectic Twirl

A Hextic will only use this ability if they are the only non-swarm enemy remaining. They will briefly charge up their bodies before becoming an invincible spinning hitbox of high damage. They will stop after bouncing off 3 walls, or after being parried. This will break through the player's guard in Hero Mode.

Hextics are fast, agile hunters that relentlessly chase their prey. They are relatively rare and you will only usually encounter one at once. Although their Dash Slash is frighteningly quick, parrying it will immediately defeat the Hextic.
