Trinkets

Trinkets are small, odd items found throughout Zedekiah and Alina's adventure that are imbued with magical properties. They provide unique, even game-changing properties to whoever equips them. Unlike the bonuses Armor and Sheens give, Trinkets provide much more sweeping, strategy-defining traits. They are divided into 3 categories; Adept, Elite, and Draconic. Some Trinkets are only available for one of the protagonists, and often augments one of their abilities.

Adept Trinkets provide no downside, but conversely provide only small benefits. This can be just small, innocent little stat boosts, similar to Armor and Sheen bonuses, or small alterations to a protagonist's ability.

Elite Trinkets are much more potent, and boast only small downsides... But are much more costly to equip. Their bonuses are much more effective than Adept Trinkets, and often more dependable than Draconic Trinkets, but as previously stated, take more than one Trinket slot to equip.

Draconic Trinkets are just as cheap as Adept Trinkets, but provide massive boons... Right alongside a crippling weakness. These boons are often much more drastic than the other Trinkets, but often make their detriment that more effective.

Both characters each have 2 Trinket slots by default (which can be upgraded to 3), and 1 shared Trinket slot (that can be upgraded to 2). Trinkets, unlike other equipment, are unique, and cannot be equipped on both characters at the same time (barring the shared slot).

This Emberstone from the Scorchfreeze Sierras bursts with flaming passion. This instantly and unconsciously reflects in your fighting stance.

Draconic - Talisman of Echoes

ToV's Dark Room reward

ECHOING STRIKES | Consecutive attacks on a single enemy buff the next attack's damage to a max of 400%

REVERBERATING PAIN | Every incoming attack has a chance to Reverberate, inflicting a second attack that deals 50% damage

Adept - Flame Emblem

Found in the Temple of Valstar

BURNING PASSION | Flamelash ( Y ) may inflict On Fire

This emblem with a flame shape reminds Zedekiah of his father, and intensifies his passions.

Draconic - Cursed Amulet of Fire

Found in the Temple of Valstar (lower area)

RING OF FIRE | Taking damage creates a ring of fire around Zedekiah, dealing ( lvl * 1.6 ) damage and potentially inflicting On Fire

SPIRITUAL WEAKNESS | Zedekiah takes 15% more damage

This odd amulet sizzles with a seemingly unyielding, blind rage, lashing out at any given opportunity.

Alina

Adept - Broken Monocle

Found in the Temple of Valstar

OCULAR FOCUS | Alina's arrows home onto enemies much more effectively

This shattered lens seems to increase Alina's focus just holding it. Too bad the broken glass prevents her from safely wearing it.

Elite - Worn Quiver

Purchased from Callista after reaching level 10 and unlocking Ethereal Bow

DUAL FIRE | Fire two arrows instead of one when using Ethereal Bow (the second arrow only does 60% damage)

QUICKDRAW | Alina can fire her bow slightly faster

This quiver reverberates the memories of its previous owner, a master marksman that could fire a volley of arrows in a single draw of the bowstring.
