I realized today SOULBLAZE turned 2 years old this month. How crazy is that?
My stupid monkey brain has been absolutely obsessed with this project for so long I didn't even realize how long it'd been.
It really is my dream, though. A fun, exciting game with satisfying combat and an interesting story.
Developing it by myself is sure gonna be a nightmare; even just coming up with all these ideas is a lot of work. I've made three separate prototypes now, all very basic and simple, and man... Do I have my work cut out for me.
It's all worth it in the end, though. Like I said, SOULBLAZE is my dream. I'll work for it as much as I need to make this thing happen.
I know a lot of devs in the industry say "don't make a huge game as your first game", but I just can't help it. No other project I try to make sticks. I lose passion in it too quickly. All except SOULBLAZE. Hell, it even failed before, when I tried jumping into things too early and roping people in who didn't share my passion.
This time, I'm taking things slowly. Refining my talents so I can make the best game I can make.
